Welcome to peri, that is, perimenopause, the squishy grey spot between experiencing menstrual cycles and not, but it's so much more.
A woman can't be pinned down. She starts out as a girl, every day the same daily process, then changes her monthlong cycle, like moon. Sometimes she's pregnant, most often not. Then she changes again and all that stops. So we're told. But all sorts of things happen along the way to our bodies, our hormones, our menses, our plumbing, and how the world around us responds to us. Can't pin us down, until you can. But it's impolite to ask someone if they bleed isn't it? It IS isn't it??
One thing is certain, you can't be certain what you're going to get during this exceedingly strange time.
But it's an exceedingly strange time to be alive.
